Hosting and maintenance for websites and shops
If you like, I host your website or shop on my own server with a data centre provider in Germany. I keep the system, WordPress and plugins up to date, back up daily and get an alert as soon as something is wrong. I also maintain websites that are hosted elsewhere.
What is included
- Hosting on my server in Germany
- SSL certificates that renew themselves
- Updates for the system, PHP, WordPress and plugins, with a check afterwards
- Daily backups
- Checks every ten minutes: availability, certificates, backups, disk space, email
- Mailboxes and forwarding
- Page caching: on admade.de it cut the time to first byte from over 2 seconds to under 0.15 seconds
Costs
The effort for hosting and maintenance depends on whether it is a website or a shop, how many mailboxes you need and how much time for small changes should be included.
Hosting and maintenance costs are listed in the quote, separate from the build costs. Larger changes are agreed beforehand.
