The task
A production company needs a website that shows it knows image and motion. The content has to be editable without a developer, in English and Arabic.
What I delivered
- A one-page site with a split opening, timeline, showreel, project grid and contact form
- Content from the Strapi headless CMS, with built-in fallback content
- An Arabic version that switches language and reading direction
- Motion with GSAP and Lenis, spatial elements with Three.js
Problems solved
Strapi queries after the update
After a Strapi update most requests failed silently and the page showed only fallback text. Rewritten queries bring the CMS content back.
The showreel in the Arabic layout
The film strip keeps its geometry in Arabic so every frame scrolls through. Its length is measured again on every resize.
Lenis on GSAP’s ticker
Smooth scrolling runs on GSAP’s ticker. A duplicate animation loop is gone, and the motion no longer stutters.
Arabic typography
No letter-spacing in Arabic, a separate typeface for small labels, phone numbers left to right.
